4th Denton (St Anne’s) Scout Group

4th Denton Scout Group came into existence in 1935 and has run continuously for nearly 80 years. The Group has always met in the crypt under the church which is accessed by the St Anne' Drive entrance.

Situated just to the south of the city of Manchester the group enjoys easy access to the Tame valley and the Peak District as well as the city centre of Manchester. It is part of Tameside South District which encompasses the areas of Denton, Hyde, Audenshaw, Newton & Gee Cross in the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside.

Although meeting in the church; boys and girls do not have to attend the church to join the Scout Group; any young person between the ages of 6 years and 13 years can come along and Join The Adventure. Check the section pages or get in touch via the Contact Us page.

Online Shop

Online Shop

We have signed up with Uniformeasy to provide you with an online shop where you can purchase official uniform items as well as Group personalised items. They are all competitively priced and a percentage of each sale is returned to us as a donation.

You can order two ways one where your order is delivered direct to you, a fee is payable for this Or you can use click and collect where your order is delivered to us and you can collect it on a meeting night. The click and collect method can take slightly longer but it does give you free delivery.

We hope to continually add items to the shop so keep checking back to see what we have.

You will find the shop here:
